Jacqueline Mercorelli, known to M6 viewers under the pseudonym Mercotte, has bowed out of the program that made her famous, The Best Pastry Chefon December 11. After fourteen years of good and loyal service, the famous juror preferred not to do too much of the season.

“I don’t regret it at all. I had fun for fourteen years”declared this mother of four children in a video interview for the Facebook page of NeoTV. And for her to specify: “I just stopped ‘The Best Pastry Chef’. I have a very busy life, I do a lot of things, a lot of travel”.
“But it was a question of decency and ethics. For season 15, I will be 84 years old, that’s still really old to be on TV. Even if I’m in great shape, even if I’m having fun, I think it’s just a question of decency, you have to know how to stop in time”Mercotte finally explained.
