Their names are Hachim, Caroline or Franck. They are between twenty years old and a good sixty. They are students, job seekers, artisans, local civil servants or even teachers and ask a lot of questions about the contributions and especially the “nonsense” of ChatGPT.
Nothing brings them together except a curious – or professional – interest in generative AI. Hachim, Caroline and Franck are part of the first cohort of just over a hundred students from the introductory workshops on generative AI organized by Meta and Simplon.co, and launched in Marseille. It is here next to Joliette, a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean that the American giant inaugurated its first training course, which will then be available in seven major cities and an e-learning platform.
