What if illuminating the gaze only took a few seconds and a single product? Zoom in on a tip that you might adopt in your beauty routine.
That’s it, summer has arrived! It’s time for idleness on the beach, sunbathing days by the pool and trips to sunny destinations. But it’s also time to put your makeup aside for a few weeks. Yes, high temperatures and makeup do not necessarily go hand in hand. To keep a bright face and erase all traces of fatigue without putting a lot of different products on the face, there is a very simple tip. Follow the leader !
On the favorite social network of generation Z, Tiktok, a content designer called Ava Shaw (@Avashaw.ty) shared her technique to illuminate the look, and hide the dark circles in a single gesture. To do this, nothing easier: it jumps the stage of the concealer and/or the corrector to simply put golden highlighter on the hollow under the eye. It applies it directly at the level of the circle, after an illuminative base, and also deposits some drops on the cheekbone bone. You can spread it with a brush or with your fingers for an even more natural effect. Result ? A good look at will and the signs of fatigue are camouflaged! A touch of blush over it, a little mascara (the brown is very trendy this summer as we explained to you in a previous article) and voila for the summer!
If (like the author of these lines) your dark circles are quite pronounced, this technique also works on top of a corrector. Just be sure to choose a fairly hydrating and creamy to ensure a light result without too much material.
It is important to choose a liquid or cream illuminator to avoid drying the eye area. In terms of references, Ava Shaw uses a product from the Dibs Beauty brand, then a second from Iconic London. These brands being sometimes complicated to find in France, the Vitamin C illuminator concentrate of Typology is a beautiful alternative, as well as the Beauty Light Wand by Charlotte Tilbury or the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer of Rare Beauty.
