Bad news for future buyers. THE transfer duties for consideration (DMTO), More commonly known as notary fees, could increase in many departments in the coming months. The 2025 finance law, promulgated on February 14, authorizes the departments to note the DMTO ceiling of 0.5 point from April 1, 2025, until April 30, 2028.
