There is no vengeance in the hearts of those who have suffered a devastating loss, but often an immense desire for justice and change arises. It is on this foundation that it stands”Olga, educate against all forms of violence”the Social Promotion Association that has chosen to address the scourge of gender violence starting from its deepest roots: culture and education. What remains to carry forward his memory is not only the pain, but the strength of his son, Giuseppe Delmonte. Nineteen years old at the time, he is today a man who has decided not to remain a prisoner of that tragedy. Together with a group of professionals, she founded “Olga to educate” with a clear goal: to ensure that what happened to her mother does not happen to others. Giuseppe takes his mother’s “hunger for freedom” around Italytransforming his testimony into a powerful tool for raising awareness. As the name itself suggests, the focus of the business is education. The underlying idea is that violence, in all its forms (physical, psychological, economic), is not an inevitable fact, but the fruit of a culture that can and must be changed.

The mission is clear: promote cultural change. The organization firmly believes that to stop violence it is necessary to intervene before it manifests itself, working on consciences, language and awareness of rights. He structured his speech on three main fronts: in schools (through meetings and workshops), in companies (offers training courses to companies to prevent harassment and discrimination), on the territory (maintains public attention through events, conferences and awareness campaigns). In a country where the news too often gives us stories of feminicides and abuse, realities like this represent a fundamental safeguard. They do not limit themselves to assistance, but work on primary prevention.
Olga’s story continues to live not only in the memory of those who loved her, but in every boy who learns respect, in every worker who recognizes discrimination and in every person who decides to say “no” to violence.
