On March 30, Princess Anne traveled to Salisbury Plain Training Center to visit The King’s Royal Hussars cavalry regiment. A solo outing during which the royal princess did not fail to surprise.
It is in her capacity as Colonel-in-Chief, a title she has held since the creation of the regiment in 1969, that Anne made this official visit. The sister of King Charles III spent nearly two hours with the military to discuss their training program with the troops and participate in certain exercises. A special moment which testifies to the long-standing attachment of the Princess Royal to this unit, which she has followed closely for more than fifty years.
To fit the occasion, Anne from the United Kingdom had swapped her usual elegant outfits for a look for the occasion. She wore an ensemble with a green camouflage print, characteristic of the military world, completed by ankle boots. All smiles among the troops, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II once again displayed an extraordinary style, rarely seen on a crowned head. It must be said that Princess Anne never misses an opportunity to stray from royal dress codes, and this visit was no exception.
As for accessories, the princess focused on minimalism. We noticed very discreet earrings and a beige patterned scarf. But the real eye-catcher was her sunglasses. The Londoner had brought out her favorite pair which never ceases to intrigue. These were retro-futuristic style glasses from Adidas. This cycling-inspired model featured tinted lenses as well as white and red temples.
A daring choice which is reminiscent of the many original outfits that Princess Anne regularly dares to wear and which attract a lot of attention.
At 75, the one who is considered the most active member of the British royal family continues to ignore codes and trends, brilliantly!
