Polls open for the referendum on Justice. Seats open for the referendum on the system judicial. Italians are called to express their opinion on the referendum confirming the constitutional law containing: “Regulations regarding the jurisdictional system and the establishment of the Disciplinary Court”. The polling stations will be open today, from 7am to 11pm, and tomorrow, Monday 23 March, from 7am to 3pm. Those entitled to vote, based on data from the Interior Ministry, are 51,424,729, of which 5,477,619 abroad.
How to vote
On the green card, tick the “yes” box if you want to change seven articles of the Constitution regarding the judicial system and tick the “no” box if you want to keep the Constitution as it is.
What is it for
It is necessary to show up at the polling station number indicated on the form, bringing with you a valid identity card and the electoral card; the smartphone will be left outside the booth.
What to do if you have lost your card
Anyone who has lost their electoral card can obtain it at the offices of their municipality of residence which make extraordinary openings during elections.
