After the bankruptcy, finally good news. A historic brand has found a French buyer and will be relaunched very soon, but there will be change.
In recent months, many well -loved French brands have closed their doors following economic difficulties. Fortunately, some stories find a happier end. A particular brand has just found an ambitious buyer after its bankruptcy and the latter intends to resuscitate it by bringing some changes. Very good news when you know that this kitchen icon was born in 1946 and arrived in France in 1961.
Last September, the new tomb: the French branch of a famous American brand is in turmoil and is bankrupt. It is then barely saved from judicial liquidation thanks to several creditors who still believe in the potential of these products whose success does not date from yesterday. And it is the entrepreneur Cédric Meston (co-founder of Happyvore) who is today the new buyer of the Tupperware brand, which he intends to modernize. Did you know the products via the famous meetings that made the brand renown? You will now be able to discover the products via new sales channels. It is in any case the ambition of the buyer who decided to develop his community on social networks and to offer 2.0 demonstrations there. Culinary influencers on Tiktok or Instagram could therefore very soon present the products and make recipes to give plastic boxes a whole new breath. Another novelty, products should also be available in many supermarkets, a project already started at Auchan before economic difficulties. XXL meetings could even be organized directly in these points of sale.
From April, the products should be available again. The buyer intends to emphasize responsible plastic products, but also in glass, to meet consumer expectations. Innovations will also be on the agenda with more technical products which allow for example to grill food in the microwave.
