It took a lot of imagination to plan, but it was without counting on the precious help of the interior designers at Ameo Concept. New look for a new life!
Welcome to the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It is here that the new owners of the premises have set their sights on this comfortable surface. Basically, these 42 m² were occupied by an office space, as simple as it could be. Suspended or partitioned ceiling, desperately white walls, ordinary lighting and non-existent decoration… In short, it didn’t appeal and there was going to be work to transform the place into a living space. Because that was the whole point of the project: to create a perfectly optimized and cleverly sophisticated apartment intended for hotel rental. A major project carried out by the professionals of the Ameo Concept agency, created in 2016 by Alicia Oustry (ameoconcept.fr).
Summarized in this way, the very essence of this project was to “feel like home, but with all the comfort of a hotel”. A great promise, coupled with a great feat. As evidenced by the photos after work below. Previously cramped and not really functional, the apartment’s new kitchen has had a makeover. Fully equipped, it is packed with storage and fits perfectly into the neat space that now accommodates it. Decorated with a dining area for four people, whose velvet chairs come from Maisons du Monde and the golden pendant light from NV Gallery, it features partly wooded furniture, a marbled worktop and subtle brass touches, a holy trinity to copy!
Arranged in the center of this large two-room apartment, these spaces are full of conviviality and we just want to sit down there. When the floor is a dark herringbone style parquet (Décoplus Parquets), the walls have been partly covered and punctuated with architectural elements signed Orac Decor®. Made from advanced materials (most are polyurethane and some of their collection is polymer), these ornaments are durable, lightweight and easy to install. Here, they visually increase the ceiling height of the apartment tenfold.
On the living room side, fitted out in the extension, a sofa invites you to relax, a pair of Madura curtains matches it. On the floor, a round rug in organic colors (Rugvista) warms up the atmosphere and Moricio, a glass and brass pendant light by La Redoute Interiors, perfects this elegant decor. As comfortable as it is pleasant to look at, this renovation has been thought out down to the smallest detail. Did you like it?
