Apply Tadelakt
Tadelakt lends itself to multiple uses, both in exterior coating and to dress wall walls or cover the floor with a bathroom. Proposed in an industrial version, it does not require extensive knowledge of masonry.
Material required:
- Primary of hanging
- Tadelakt tinted coating
- shiny soap (or satin wax) for finishes
- a roller
- A Taloche
- a brush
- A vegetable sponge
The steps:
- Clean the surface, if necessary by degreasing it to acetone.
- Using the roller, apply the attachment primary to receive Tadelakt. This underlay is necessary to guarantee the grip and solidity of the final coating.
- Let flow 12 hours before going to the next step.
- Once the underlay is placed, apply the Tadelakt itself. Two layers are required. Please note, high temperatures (greater than 25 ° C) are not suitable for this task.
- For the first layer, brush on the wall a sufficient amount of product and smooth with the taloche to obtain a homogeneous surface.
- For the second layer, place a little coating on the Taloche and proceed in small circular movements to create nuances. Inequalities must appear.
- Go to the finishes: use the soap sponge with soap (black soap or wax) and give small strokes here and there from the bottom.
- Repeat once the operation without waiting for it to be dry.
