The Western Paris amusement park inaugurated its roller-coaster on the theme of China. An investment that cost 12 million euros!
With its botanical space spread over 18 hectares, its zoo which welcomes 450 animals and birds, its 42 attractions for young and old and its dining points, the acclimatization garden attracts more and more families. Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and considered as the oldest amusement park in France, this park created in 1860 seduces young and old for generations. He even has a metro station in his name on line 1, located a stone’s throw from the entrance.
Attractions of the acclimatization garden
Enchanted river, flying chairs, large wheel, small train, distorting mirrors, large aviary, roller coaster, puppet theater, educational farm and carousels gathered on 18 hectares of meadows make the success of the acclimatization garden which continues to renew itself. There is something for all ages and for all tastes. This year, the acclimatization garden is diversified in particular with a new carousel designed by Louis Vuitton and decorated with fantastic animals. And that’s not all: a new attraction was inaugurated this March 22 and will be open to the public on April 12, 2025.
The Dragon’s challenge, the new roller-coaster of the acclimatization garden
The dragon challenge is the 4ᵉ roller-coaster of the acclimatization garden after the steam engine, mechanical mice and speed rockets. Notice to thrill seekers! This new attraction propels visitors at full speed into a sumptuous setting from Asia. After traveling a small Chinese fishing village, take a seat aboard a dragon that starts in a rush, 50 km/hours and 12 meters high. The train is then catapulted out of the station before starting tight turns bordering on the river and the ground. An attraction to be tested with family, which represents an investment of 12 million euros.
The zoo of the acclimatization garden: what are the animals present?
In the acclimatization garden farm, Children are fortunate to discover rabbits, guinea pigs, roof goats, ouessant sheep, donkeys, a chicken coop and a apiary, to learn all the secrets of beekeeping. They can even feed domestic animals. For fans of birds, five volts organized according to different biogeographic areas transport visitors around the world, where more than 40 species are represented. Finally, a vegetable garden allows children to discover the virtues of vegetables, and learn how plants grow. These activities, surrounded by nature, are ideal for a memorable and educational family outing.
