After the BB Cream and the CC Cream, the new miracle treatment that is all the rage this season is the “Blur”. This new treatment promises a perfect complexion as if we had spent a Photoshop filter on the face. Focus on this new treatment.
What is the blur?
The blur is an optical complexion. “It optically smooths the surface of the skin with light diffuses of light which fill the defects of relief,” explains Elisabeth Bouhadana, director of scientific communication L’Oréal Paris.
What’s in it?
Blurs are made up of silicone elastomers, mattifying powders and sometimes anti-aging agents to unify and matify the complexion in addition to bringing brilliance.
The application protocol?
As it is a rather light cream texture, sometimes bordering on the frost, it can be applied to the entire face in thin layers or on targeted areas such as the wings of the nose to hide the dilated pores or the T zone to fight against the shine.
For whom?
The blur is suitable for all skin types and mainly to women aged 30 to 50. It is a product that is not intended to be a long-term care (even if some have anti-aging assets). It is more a “rescue” beauty treatment that slips under makeup, above the care of the day to reduce wrinkles and fine lines or on targeted areas for an instant “stun” effect.
