What is Paris Design Week?
If the Maison et Objet lounge is reserved for professionals in the field (brands, designers, creators, decorators, architects, journalists, buyers …), Paris Design Week is open to the public and to design followers. Each year, nearly 100,000 visitors participate in this free event. New design guard, new concepts, new collections, more than 350 essential places … Paris folds in four to make (re) discover the public those who design.
What are the dates of Paris Design Week 2023?
For the 13th consecutive year, Paris Design Week settled in the French capital, in parallel with the Maison & Object Fair. The event started on September 7 and will end on September 16, 2023 in showrooms and shops, art galleries, workshops, but also certain restaurants and hotels.
The theme of Paris Design Week 2023
Paris Design Week will be punctuated by the same theme as that of Maison & Objet, namely Enjoy. This is an opportunity to explore extravagance, audacity and humor through exhibitions and installations. At Espace Commines, Paris Design Week Factory welcomes the new generation of designers who speaks on this theme.

What are the different routes of Paris Design Week?
Like every year in September, the routes are free across the capital and more 350 places open to the public : design showroom, shops, galleries, workshops, restaurants, hotels, but also museums and institutions. It is through several Themed walks that the event is organized across the capital. The goal is to celebrate a plural and multi-disciplinary approach to design through exhibitions, ephemeral facilities and product presentations.
In parallel with the courses by districts (Opera-Concorde-Etoile / Palais-Royal-Place des Victoires-Pigalle / Marais-Bastille-République / Rive Gauche), thematic walks With around fifty participants are offered to discover the design according to its interests. 9 routes punctuate the September 2023 edition:

- Design on course: the creators exhibit their works in the courses of the most beautiful buildings.

Paris Design Week Factory
Paris Design Week Factory East The essential address to discover young creators. Design, exhibition and boutique are thus found at Espace Commines (17 rue Commines 75003 Paris) and the Joseph Galerie (116 rue de Turenne 75003 Paris). The opportunity for the new generation of designers and creators to present unpublished prototypes and collections that attract an ever more numerous audience.
