After over twenty years of adventures, laughter and unlikely chases, the most beloved pack in animation is ready to return to the big screen. In fact, it will arrive in Italian cinemas on 4 February 2027 Ice Age: Boiling Pointthe sixth chapter of the successful prehistoric saga born in 2002 and which has become one of the most successful animated franchises ever.
For the moment the details of the plot are still shrouded in mystery. However, the teaser trailer released in recent weeks shows Manny, Diego, Sid, Ellie, Buck, Crash, Eddie and the inevitable Scrat dealing with a new and daring adventure that will take them to unexplored areas of the Lost World, among dinosaurs, volcanic eruptions, rivers of lava and dangers never faced before.
The heart of the saga remains what the public has known and loved for over two decades: the unlikely friendship between very different animals who, despite different characters and origins, always end up teaming up in the face of difficulties. In the center we find Mannythe mammoth with a big heart but a gruff character; Sidthe bungling and irresistibly talkative sloth; Diego, the brave and loyal saber-toothed tiger; Ellie and his wacky possum family of Crash and Eddie. However, he often steals the show Scratthe squirrel obsessed with his acorn, protagonist of some of the most famous gags in the history of animation.
