After white collars, white coats? While coworking has transformed the way some urban executives work, start-ups are now trying the adventure of “medical coworking”. The codes are the same: turnkey and shared spaces to rent a few days a week. However, they are suitable for health professionals and osteopaths, who are looking to set up as independent practitioners.
“The practitioner will be able to moderate his real estate needs according to his patient base, rather than charges 30 days a month, 365 days a year, or a precarious sublet of a practice”, specifies Nicolas Maciocia, co-founder of WeKarea start-up in the sector which has just raised 2 million euros from the investment club of Frédéric Ruppli, a private equity professional.
