Letizia from Spain often wears this same jewel full of meaning…
For almost 20 years since she married King Felipe VI, Letizia of Spain has been going through a series of events to honor her royal responsibilities.
Renowned for her sense of elegance, she takes care of each of her outfits by almost always associating it with a symbolic jewel that she wears during her official outings. It is neither the most spectacular nor the most valuable piece in his collection, but an accessory imbued with strong emotional value that accompanies it for good reason.
The latest issue of the magazine Galaarriving on newsstands this Thursday, March 5, 2026, looks at length at Leonor’s departure from Spain for six months at sea aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano. On this occasion, the Spanish sovereign wore on her left hand an 18-carat gold ring handmade in Rome by the brand Coreternothe interior of which is engraved with the phrase “As long as I exist, you will be loved”a quote from an ancient English medieval ballad.
Arranged on the index finger, the ornament also bears on its exterior face the inscription in relief “Amor che tutto move”in other words “Love moves everything”inspired by the last line of the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.
The choice of this jewel is not insignificant for Letizia from Spain. This ring indeed has a very strong sentimental value since it was given to him by his daughters, Leonor and Sofia, as a Christmas gift.
Worn for the first time in 2023 during the military parade in Madrid, it allows her to keep them close to her despite the distance and the obligations which sometimes keep them away from each other. We therefore understand why the 53-year-old queen never seems to part with it.
