An artist for more than 35 years, Princess Delphine of Belgium surprises once again by unveiling a project as elegant as it is unexpected.

We know crowned heads for their commitments, their meticulous appearances, sometimes their discreet passions. But some reveal a talent that was not expected or not at this level. After Kate Middleton for photography, Letizia of Spain for literature, Maxima of the Netherlands for music, another personality surprises: Princess Delphine of Belgium.
An accomplished artist for over 35 years, she has established herself on the European scene with her vibrant, colorful, daring works, where love, freedom and individuality intertwine. But this time, it’s a completely different terrain that she chose to explore, and no one anticipated it.

This November, Delphine de Saxe-Cobourg unveiled a brilliant collaboration: Eternal Bloom, an exclusive collection imagined with BAUNAT, a Belgian jewelry house known for its Antwerp know-how. Inspired by two of his major works, My Self Portrait as a Rose and A Rose Protected by Love, this capsule line places the rose – a symbol of transformation and inner strength – at the heart of each creation.

During the launch at the very chic Maison Barrière Vendôme hotel in Paris, the princess appeared in an impeccable black pantsuit, letting the jewelry she wore fully speak for itself: the Eternal Bloom brooch, ring and necklace. Under the soft lighting, the natural diamonds sparkled with every movement, revealing the sculptural curves of the rose. An elegant, almost cinematic appearance, which immediately captured all eyes. ” A jewel remains, it is passed on. It’s a kind of heritage. That’s why it’s valuable too. “, she told us that evening.

The collection consists of six models — rings, pendants, earrings and a brooch — entirely handcrafted in 18-carat gold and natural diamonds in BAUNAT’s Antwerp workshops. Each piece takes the rose as the princess sees it: lively, expressive, almost in movement.

A collector’s edition (the first eight pieces of each model) will be numbered and engraved with the princess’s personal signature. An open edition, also made by hand, will allow the public to access this iconic collection. “By uniting our know-how with the creativity of Princess Delphine, we aim to create jewelry that combines Belgian heritage and artistic expression,” explains Steven Boelens, CO-CEO of the BAUNAT Group.

With this collection, Princess Delphine is not only adding a line to her artistic journey: she is opening a new path, unexpected, brilliant, intimate. One question remains: after transforming the rose into a wearable work, how far will it go in this exploration between art and luxury? Only the next royal surprise will tell us.
