Allure Bridals has designed 18 dresses, inspired by a series on 19th century London society, which attracted millions of viewers around the world!
Do you dream of a princess wedding and are romantic series your hobby? Please note that a special wedding collection is inspired by a series that was a hit on Netflix. Indeed, Allure Bridals, in collaboration with Netflix and the production company ShondaLand, unveiled a collection of wedding dresses inspired by the cult series: The Bridgerton Chronicles. Adaptation of Julia Quinn’s literary saga, this series has conquered tens of millions of homes around the world since its launch in December 2020. Produced by Shonda Rhimes, it immerses viewers in the high society of London at the beginning of the 19th century and highlights women wearing romantic and delicate outfits, just like its spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
Designed by Lyn Paolo, costume designer nominated for the 2023 Emmy Awards for the series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storythe 18 models in the collection give pride of place to lace, floral patterns, ruffles, veils and satin. “Inspired by the style of the daring and refined outfits of the character of Queen Charlotte, this collaboration brings a touch of romance and glamor to modern-day brides (…) It allows them to have the impression of immerse yourself in the Georgian era“, indicated the company Allure Bridals in a press release. This collaboration also filled Lyn Paolo with happiness. “I love the worlds that Shonda Rhimes imagines and it’s an absolute pleasure to imagine costumes for these wonderful universes. I really enjoyed bringing to life dresses inspired by his series and imagined for today’s brides (…) It’s as if we had brought a little piece of magic into their lives“, confided the costume designer to Today.
This collection of wedding dresses was unveiled on December 11 during a fashion show organized at the Huntington Library in San Marino, California, in the presence of producer Shonda Rhimes, actress Katie Lowes and the influencer Taylen Biggs. The 18 models in the collection are on sale on the Allure Bridals website at prices ranging between 1,600 dollars (approximately 1,465 euros) and 3,000 dollars (approximately 2,740 euros).
