It is a 180 degree turn, far from the world of agriculture, that this flagship candidate of Love is in the meadow, the M6 rural dating show, is preparing to operate. At 57 years old, Thierry Olive, a cattle breeder revealed in season 7 of the program, has in fact decided to part with his farm!

Still married to Annie, whom he met through the show in 2012, the now cult farmer from the show hosted by Karine Le Marchand has decided to devote himself entirely to his side business, launched a year ago with the precious help of his wife. The couple, who celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on September 15, are in fact at the head of a rural lodge which works very well.
And it’s in an interview given to The Manche Press that Thierry Olive revealed that he had put his farm, located in Sarthe, up for sale. Installed on this 30 hectare farm where he has been raising cattle since 1990, the farmer is finally offering himself a professional reconversion, far from the world of agriculture. “It’s thanks to Annie because I struggle with the Internet. Our business is doing well and doesn’t require a lot of work, so it will be perfect for retirement!”the main person concerned informed the local newspaper.

A radical change of life for those who are preparing to retire little by little. And thanks to this gîte opening in 2024, Thierry Olive intends to make up for lost time… And take time for his wife! “I want to discover the products of our region, go to Alsace for example… France is beautiful and I don’t know it”he explained.
Regardless, he recently told West France that he was not “not in a hurry to sell”. However, the farmer still recognized “having difficulty keeping up” because he feels “too broken and tired”. But there is no question of him giving up his farm to the first comer: “First of all, we have to get along well with the buyers and not do anything with the farm. And then, if I have a crush on the person, then I could well accompany them for a few months”.
