We all experienced a bathroom like this, right? So here is something to make up for ideas to renovate it with style and without spraying the budget.
Office and poorly arranged, this 30 m² studio located in Boulogne-Billancourt had a great need for a new stroke. Purchased as a rental investment, it was paved with an old -fashioned carpet, its ceilings were decreed and a tangle of pipes imposed by the collective heating complicated its development. Suffice to say that the potential was well hidden! To restore it to value and style, the decorator and founder of the agency Les Murs have ears, Valérie Laporte Volatier, accompanied by the architect DPLG Charlotte Soissons Lenormand and the architect and decorator Brice Bourdon, took up this challenge brilliantly. In three and a half months, the space was completely redesigned. Exit the old kitchen, which has given way to a cozy room, separated from the living room. As for the new kitchen, it takes up its quarters in the living room, now optimized and plays the elegance inspired by the 1950s. Even the entrance cagibi, hitherto without clear function, finally finds its usefulness. Result: a transformed, modernized and functional studio, ready to seduce its future tenants, all, for 56,000 euros.
As for the lame coin, it displayed a retro look, in addition to being ten times too large compared to the other rooms in the studio. In order to bring him back to life, the pros of the walls have ears left zero! Thanks to a clever redistribution of the available space, the bathroom has been reduced in favor of other more useful areas: the bedroom on one side and the kitchen, on the other. Now optimized, it integrates harmoniously into the redesigned arrangement of the apartment and even gains in comfort. Here, the bulky bathtub has given way to a spacious and modern shower with a saga recipient, a Hansgrohe thermostatic column and a remix sliding door, all found at Leroy Merlin. In terms of layout, an ikea enehet chest vanity unit brings storage, accompanied by an oval bloom mirror from Leroy Merlin, which adds a timeless touch.
The atmosphere plays the subtle contrast card: the white bakerstreet tiles dresses the walls while an elegant Green Green Mizzle from Farrow & Ball brings sweetness. On the ground, the Grège tiles, Salted at Leroy Merlin still, ensures a neutral and refined base. Last but not least, a towel dryer has been installed, while the original toilets have been preserved and are today perfectly integrated into this redesigned bathroom. Like what, with great ideas and a little budget, everything is possible!
