If you want to resell your bags at gold prices, you should not make this error. We tell you everything!

Today, buying a luxury bag is more interesting than buying gold or investing in real estate, as the prices of major brands have increased! Whether it is the Birkin of Hermès, Lady Dior, or even Gucci jackie, it is possible to sell them much more expensive than their original price of years later. Indeed, if you bought a luxury bag ten years ago, you can surely resell it five times more expensive, even much more, than you paid it.

But if you have made this little mistake, you can say goodbye to the resale. May Berthelot, an expert in luxury, explains it in a video published on her Instagram account. There is a harmless thing that everyone does, but that makes bags considerably less precious. Certainly, you can resell them, but not at the expected price.

This is customization! Many people are tempted to add their initials or those of their loved ones to their dream bag. But it is an error that makes them lose value. Indeed, not everyone has the same initials, and not everyone wants them to be engraved on their bag. With engraved letters, the bag will be cheaper and therefore more difficult to resell.

The fashion content designer also explains that it is complicated to make engraving or personalization disappear, more reason to abstain if you still want to be able to resell it later and not regret!
