While regional tensions have reignited concerns in the area, some French influencers based in Dubai have expressed their panic on social networks. But comedian Vincent Moscato, on a trip to Dubai, did not hesitate to say what he thought of this situation.

Some influencers based in Dubai, and stuck there due to the closure of the airport due to the crisis between Iran and certain Gulf countries, have launched appeals to the French authorities to be repatriated. Among them, the star of Marseille Maeva Ghennam, who filmed herself from her garden in Dubai saying she had “too scared” after hearing explosions, or the ex-candidate of Secret Story Kamila, who also expressed her panic in videos on social networks.
Present on site, Vincent Moscato, host on RMC and well-known outspoken former rugby player, spoke on the subject in a video published on his Instagram account. Facing the camera, he began by reassuring himself about his state of mind: “It’s going flawless“. If he recognizes that “it’s farting all over the place“and that”explosions” have been heard, he refuses to give in to panic. “We must not minimize… but out of respect for those who are really suffering, we are not going to complain either“, he declared before adding: “We’ll try to get back. We don’t ask anyone for anything, we’ll get through it, we’ll be at peace“.
Vincent Moscato destroys certain influencers: “They shame France”
Then, the 60-year-old actor adopted a more forceful tone to tackle certain French influencers: “And for all the bored people, those who are afraid, the influencers who want to create drama, what a bunch of pomposity. They shame France. ‘I didn’t sleep all night.’ But who cares if you didn’t sleep all night (…) There are more important things in life“, he said, bluntly.
The day before, Vincent Moscato had still expressed his shock at the situation, he who had offered his wife this trip for Valentine’s Day. “I’m in Dubai with my wife Christelle, at the moment it’s not a party in the village, let’s say. We’re not cool, but first time in Dubai and it’s exploding everywhere“, he regretted in an Instagram video.
