A surprise.

It’s time to take stock. Two and a half months before 2026, the research organizations are already communicating their rankings. This is a blessing for brands, who can thus see if they have succeeded in retaining their existing customers and/or if they have gained popularity. Recently, this is the ranking Interbrand who is talking about him in the specialized media. Press release on October 15, “Best global brands 2025” lists the most powerful labels in the world over the year, particularly in financial terms. And this will delight slightly chauvinistic fashionistas, because the first fashion brand in this ranking is French. It is also the first tricolor label in the said ranking. Its brand value is estimated at $48.4 billion. It is part of the luxury group LVMH.

Known for its famous Monogram, its high-end leather goods, its ancestral know-how in the world of trunks; said hexagonal brand was born in 1854 under the leadership of its eponymous founder. Among the bags she has designed and which have won over fashionistas: the iconic Speedy; the Neverfull, favorite of the Vinties; the trendy-debauched Noé or the classic Capucines, always hanging on the arm of our First Lady. She can even boast of dressing Madame Brigitte Macron from head to toe during her diplomatic events in France and abroad. You will have understood, in 2025, the most loved fashion brand in the world is none other than Louis Vuitton.

Overall, it comes in 12th position, behind the giants Apple, Amazon or even Samsung. However, behind this apparent success, it seems that, compared to the previous year, the famous house has lost 5% of brand value – or one place less in the ranking. But one thing is certain, it far surpasses its rivals Hermes, 21st, Chanel, 24th, or even Gucci69th, which shows the largest drop in value in the ranking (-35%). We are not immune to a turnaround in the situation next year…
