This year, Timothée Chalamet could finally do this double. Indeed, the young actor, now 30 years old – Franco-American – won the 2026 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for the feature film Marty Supreme. And he was nominated for the same film in the Best Actor category at the Oscars.

Furthermore, Jean Dujardin also holds another unbeaten record. That of the double Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival then Oscar for Best Actor for the same film. An extremely rare feat because, before him, we have to go back to cinema legends like Jon Voight (Coming Home1978) or Ray Milland (The Lost Weekend1945).

Despite his American awards, Jean Dujardin did not want to pursue a career in Hollywood despite small roles in films. The Wolf of Wall Street And Monument Men. And he fully assumes it. “I didn’t belong there. It was nice, but we don’t have the same approach, we don’t have the same culture.
