Last January, the Enfoirés troupe took over the stage of the Accor Arena for several performances for the benefit of Restos du coeur. Like every year, many stars have joined the band. And an emblematic figure has made his comeback!
On February 27, TF1 will broadcast one of its flagship annual events: the big Enfoirés show. Recorded at the Accor Arena in Paris last January, the show promises a few surprises… And a big reunion!
A Restos faithful back in Les Enfoirés: “I have known the troupe for a long time”
In addition to new recruits in the band – like singers Helena and Marine from the Star Academyor even Styleto as well as the violinist Esther Abrami -, the Enfoirés also welcome this year the return of an emblematic name. An essential artist of French song returns to the ranks of the famous troupe to the delight of his 55 comrades, and the public… the singer Florent Pagny.
After five years away from his comrades, the 64-year-old singer, who battled lung cancer in recent years, happily takes the microphone again. The opportunity for his associates to tell him “a guard of honor“? “Surely not!”he chanted in the columns of TV 7 days. “You must not do this kind of thing to me, otherwise I won’t know where to stand!”specified the one who left the band in 2021. Before adding: “I’ve known the troupe for a long time. We were happy to see each other again. And anyway, it’s such a show that everyone leaves their ego in the locker room”.
This “historical character of Restaurants” makes his comeback: “It’s an obligation for us, the artists”
“It’s always a matter of planning and timing. It took me a few years to come back, but it’s a unique adventure. There’s no time in a career where you can experience the same thing.”explained the father of Inca and Aël to Leisure TV. “For several days, we find ourselves surrounded by around sixty artists – 70% of whom I know –, and it’s super pleasant”he confided. Before concluding: “At some point, it’s an obligation for us, the artists, to return the light we receive by making ourselves useful. The cause is good, the show is enormous and spending 4 days with the Enfoirés is a real recreation for me”.
Described in 7 Days TV by his sidekick Zazie like a “historical character of Restaurants”the singer of the hit Know how to love according to her, is part “people who knew Coluche, who preserve the spirit of the first impulses”. A bit like Jean-Jacques Goldman, who doesn’t want to come back…
No wonder then that the return of Florent Pagny in Les Enfoirés moves the public. “I must admit that the illness has changed a lot of things… Even when I was fighting cancer, but I still had the capacity to make the final of The Voice, I often found myself on the set surrounded by people in tears. It has a strange effect…”recognized the main person concerned.
