When you celebrate Valentine’s Day at home, dinner is often the moment when you find yourself. To make this moment special, why not add a symbolic touch to the plate? A heart -shaped towel folding is a very simple idea, but that has its effect. Easy to make, it transforms an ordinary table into a nice romantic decor and proves that you have taken the time to treat details. The good news is that it is not very complicated.

Open it completely to obtain a large rectangle, then fold it in half lengthwise so as to obtain a long and narrow strip. Then fold the right side up by forming an angle, then do the same thing with the left side, so as to create a point down. Gently turn the towel over to keep the folds in place. At this point, you just have to fold the outdoor upper corners inwards to form two small triangles. Repeat this operation on the other side, making sure to keep a harmonious symmetry. Finally, turn the towel one last time and admire your pretty heart.
All you have to do is place it on the plate of your half to make him a nice surprise. For an even more romantic effect, slide a soft word under the towel or add a dried flower in the center of the heart. Simple attention will not fail to make your partner smile at the start of the meal.
