Take bets, the Lyst platform has just revealed the name of the most desirable brand this year. Spoiler: she comes from Italy.
At the end of each quarter, Lyst reveals the ranking of the most popular brands. The British site, consulted by 200 million people each year, compares Internet users’ Google searches, the number of mentions and engagement around these labels on social networks to determine which one is the object of all desires. Dior, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent… Here is the ranking for the first three months of 2024.

At the head of the ranking, Miu Miu replaces Prada. The Italian brand, founded by Miuccia Prada in 1993, has for several seasons been driving the trends that we find everywhere, on fashionistas in the street as well as on the shelves of fast fashion brands. The ultra-low waist, the crop top, the boat shoes… The brand also has collaborations, from Church’s to New Balance, and recently relaunched its men’s line, which has widely aroused public interest. Lyst notes an 88% increase in searches for Miu Miu from male consumers.
In second place, we find Prada, the intellectual big sister of Miu Miu, which peaked at the top at the end of 2023. Led by Miuccia Prada (her again) and Raf Simons, the Milanese house has seen its sales increase by 18% since 1er January 2024. On the last step of the podium sits the Spaniard Loewe, led by creator Jonathan Anderson. The rest of the top 20 of the Lyst index is mainly completed by big names in luxury. The only exceptions: Moncler in sixth place, Skims in thirteenth, New Balance in fifteenth and Diesel in seventeenth.
The Lyst Index establishes in parallel a unisex classification of articles the most popular. Jackets, shoes, handbags, accessories… For the first quarter of 2024, we find in order:
