Although Anne-Sophie Lapix’s daily life takes place at a frantic pace, she still has room for a habit that is essential to her. This is a ritual from which the journalist never departs…

Anne-Sophie Lapix may have been ousted from the 8 p.m. news on France 2 last summer, but she is not resting on her laurels. The 53-year-old journalist keeps a steady pace on a daily basis: she is in charge of the 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. slot on RTL and presents an interview program, 20.10on M6 every Sunday. And to keep up, she has a very specific program from which she never deviates!

Anne-Sophie Lapix, her ultra-dynamic routine: “I created my own thing”

One thing is certain: Anne-Sophie Lapix is not a fan of sleeping in! “My day starts at 6:10 a.m. I wake up automatically. I listen to the radio. I start with RTL, then a little Europe 1, a little France Info… I then alternate. Clarification: I do gym at the same time“, she confided in a recent interview with 7 Days TV.

The journalist adopts a dynamic routine from the morning which accompanies her throughout the day: “I do personal gym (laughs) I did a lot of classical dance, floor barre. Over time, I created my own thing. It lasts twenty minutes.” With this busy schedule, she even takes the time to inform herself as much as possible: “Before falling asleep, I read two or three daily newspapers in digital version, generally, Les Echos which arrives at 9:30 p.m., and Le Figaro, at 10 p.m. (…) I arrive at RTL at 8:45 a.m. having read all the newspapers, listened to all the radio stations“.

Anne-Sophie Lapix monomaniac: this meal she eats every day

As for her breakfast, the wife of publicist Arthur Sadoun eats it every morning without fail. More than just a habit, this breakfast is a real ritual for her, an almost sacred moment that she very rarely disrupts! The mother of Esteban and Aurélien, aged 22 and 20 and born from a previous relationship, always eats the same meal in the morning: “Tea in the morning, with toast and butter“. Of Basque origin, Anne-Sophie Lapix always opts for soft butter. “My mother is Breton though. It’s my favorite meal: bread, butter and milk tea.”

If the journalist maintains control over her daily schedule, she allows herself to let go of the pressure a little on weekends, as she had confided a few months earlier to TV Mag : “I unplug on the weekend. I’m becoming a stay-at-home mom again. I play sports, I go to the cinema, I get some fresh air, I have lunch with friends. During the week, it’s harder to break away from the news, but I still manage to have dinner with my children, who are kind enough to wait for my return“.
