When it comes to manicures, trends punctuate the seasons and each year brings its share of new products. 2026 will be no exception to the rule. After the domination of very pronounced nail art this summer, a completely different fashion seems to be emerging. Chic, natural and minimalist, it promises to enhance our hands and adapt to all outfits. Far from being new, this manicure is still making a comeback with great fanfare after an absence. “I think with all the crazy things happening in the world right now, there’s something reassuring about minimalist beauty“, explains celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, in an interview with the American media Glamor. “We want to feel beautiful, but not too extravagantly.“
So, make way for simplicity with nude pink nails. A return which is not a bad thing since it replaces the usual dark colors of winter. This style draws all its charm from its discretion, like a varnish that knows how to be forgotten. “Nude shades do not distract from the complexity and details of the clothes“, explains Bana Jarjour, a professional from Los Angeles, to Allure magazine. A fashion that is confirmed on the Fashion Week catwalks where many designers have showcased very sober nails.
To adopt nude pink, nothing could be simpler. Many brands offer great references, whether in semi-permanent or classic varnishes. Our favorite? Apricot Beige from the Canadian brand Gelcare. Bare My Soul from OPI is available in normal and semi-permanent. Are you more of a classic nail polish type? Don’t panic, the Essie brand offers the shade Not Just a Pretty Face which will be perfect. The icing on the cake: nude pink can be worn on any length of nails; very short for an ultra-chic look or long for the more adventurous. There are absolutely no rules!
Tom Bachik only recommends applying a small touch of topcoat every three to five days in order to maintain the very shiny side of the manicure.
