You don’t necessarily have to have a big budget to please the children at Christmas. The proof with these low-cost toys from Action, including one that is right on trend!
The end-of-year holidays can represent a certain financial pressure on families, especially when it comes to gifts. The proof is with the latest Donations Solidaires barometer, carried out with the IFOP. In the 2025 edition, the association reveals that 33% of French people are afraid of not being able to give gifts at Christmas, that 37% of parents partially or completely give up Christmas gifts, and that 49% of them deprive themselves of other spending to be able to put things under the tree.
Many families are therefore looking for good deals to give nice gifts to children, without blowing their budget. This can consist of buying second-hand products, watching for promotions, shopping in clearance stores, or even looking at what’s on the shelves in inexpensive stores, like GiFi, Centrakor, B&M, Action… These often have arrivals of toys and you can find some gems!
According to the Yoganoel and La Revue du Cadeau barometer, carried out among stores in the sector, one of the types of toys that are the most popular at the moment are those under the Lilo & Stitch license. Since the release of the live-action last May, this little Disney character has returned to the top of the trends, and we can therefore find many products bearing his image. Among the most popular are soft toys, which sell like hotcakes. Action has been offering one since December 3, 2025, at only 6.98 euros! It is found in the classic blue version, but also with the image of Angel (the pink Stitch) and Leroy (the red Stitch).
By taking a look at the store specializing in low-cost products, you can also find two toys that can really please children, but also adults. Yes, they are part of the “retro-gaming” and “kidult” trend. This is the “retro games console”, which looks a lot like the famous Nintendo portable console which was a hit in the 1990s. It contains 90 games, but costs only 6.78 euros! You can also find a Pac-Man game console for 9.92 euros, which allows you to play three games from this franchise created in the 1980s.
