It’s a record summer that’s coming to an end for the small screen and more particularly for France Télévisions. Thanks to the broadcast of the Paris Olympic Games, the audiovisual group’s channels have had a great success, with France 2 crowned leader in audience share (PdA) in August, for the second month in a row: unheard of! Despite a context that was very unfavorable to them, TF1 and M6 are nevertheless holding up.
Unveiled on Monday, the monthly Médiamat shows a historic record for France 2: with 23.3% of audience share among the public aged 4 and over, the flagship channel of the public audiovisual group is ahead of TF1, which is just under 17%. France 3 remains on the podium with 10.7% of audience share, ahead of M6 (6.2%).
