Ukraine is not alone. And so, while Russia bombs and Trump tries to isolate Europe and Zelensky, the Vatican moves. The cardinal also announced that, before Christmas, through almsgiving and nunciatures, Leone sent financial aid to various countries. In Ukraine, three more trucks had arrived on Christmas Eve with humanitarian aid sent by the Korean company Samyang Foods. Aid diverted to the war zones most affected by the bombings, “where there is no electricity, no water and no heating”.
