On May 25, the Swedish Crown Princess attended the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award ceremony. She shined with her elegant and spring look.
The event aimed at increasing interest in literature among young people around the world took place at the Stockholm Concert Hall. Victoria of Sweden presented the award to Canadian picture book illustrator and artist Jon Klassen. Coming on stage with the prize bearing the name of the famous Swedish novelist, the princess revealed her outfit which brilliantly combined class and patterns. A fan of floral pieces, the key piece of her look was her skirt. It was a long model by the Norwegian fashion brand ByTiMo. Made from taffeta, this maxi skirt had a flared, trapeze cut. A style secret already well known to red carpet stars to instantly lengthen the silhouette, and which here perfectly highlighted the princess. The wife of Daniel of Sweden therefore appeared taller with this garment, combined with her pumps (the “Gianvito 105” by Gianvito Rossi in black leather).
As for her jewelry, Victoria of Sweden focused on originality. She had opted for silver accessories with unusual shapes and designs. We spotted her Edblad brand bracelet with abstract lines, inspired by wave movements. A Maria Nilsdotter pendant representing a horse adorned her neck, while surprisingly shaped earrings finished her look.
