What becomes of Popeck? He is back for a “last lap”
The actor will date on stage very soon for a final representation of his latest show, Finished laughing, we close. The meeting is therefore given on May 18, the date of its 90th anniversary, at the Passy theater in Paris, dear in the heart of the nonagenarian since he played several Sundays in a row in 2024, for what he himself describes as “Last lap”.
The ticket office for this subtle mixture of cult sketches and jokes written specially for the occasion is always open. And good news: there are a few places left! The opportunity for this dean of French humor to celebrate his 65 years of career with dignity, and, perhaps, make his apron for good as indicated the title of his show.
Popeck, not close to going to a retirement home: “I would kill myself before”
Popeck has always proclaimed him loud and clear: he will stay on stage until the end of his life. Moreover, in 2022, the one who took this stage name in 1977 had entrusted Jordan de Luxe that he did not wish to integrate a retirement home, a place which he executes to the highest point. “What a horror, my God.
