Stéphanie Le Quellec in love with David: “He is deeply my other half”
Married for more than 22 years, the two lovebirds fell in love in the kitchen. “David and I met in the kitchen and, quickly, our whole life revolved around it and its derivatives”explained the main concerned in the columns of Gala This year. Comments which confirm those already made in the same magazine in 2021: “He is deeply my other half. At the same time my husband, the father of my three children, my best friend and the one with whom I work. He is a true life partner, in the broad sense”.
The one who joined Top Chef during the fifteenth season knows that she can count on her husband at all times: “I believe in finding someone who, beyond love, gives you respect, is equal in household chores. I would not be where I am if David had not educated our sons as much as I did”.
Together, Stéphanie and David Le Quellec have three children: Baptiste, 20 years old, Maxime, 19 years old, and Arthur, 8 years old. The eldest now works as a bartender, and the youngest, Maxime, follows in his parents’ footsteps. He studied pastry at the French school of gastronomy and hotel management Ferrandi. “Our elders have left home, work and never ask us for anything… I am proud of them”detailed the mother.

It’s not just at home that Stéphanie Le Quellec and her husband form a duo. Together, they developed La Scène, a restaurant founded by the chef which today has no less than two stars in the Michelin Guide. David, her husband, joined her team after having cut his teeth in the biggest houses in the capital: the Four Seasons George V, the Four Seasons Terre Blanche, Le Concorde Opéra…
After six years in the kitchens of the Moulin-Rouge, David Le Quellec joined his wife’s brigades. “My past experiences have built me, but now the desire to write a personal story with Stéphanie and to find ourselves in the kitchen is an accomplishment that I dreamed of (…) Professionally we are very complementary: she carries the projects, their development. Her strength is her signature, her identity in the kitchen and her creativity”he confided.
