What does daily life look like in Saint-Tropez? Her life as a “farmer” in “great silence”

Brigitte Bardot, who has just denied her death after fake news spread on Twitter, has lived in her famous Madrague residence for decades. But, today, what does the former film star’s daily life look like?

Brigitte Bardot lived most of her life in her property in La Madrague, in Saint-Tropez, where she still spends peaceful days. And if the blogger Aqababe declared that she had just died on October 22, the ex-actress was quick to speak out to assure that she was still in this world! “Please know that I am doing well and have no plans to bow out.“, she confirmed. But what does the animal rights activist’s daily life look like?

Brigitte Bardot: her isolated daily life without “any noise” at Madrague

In her famous residence in La Madrague, the icon of French cinema, married to Bernard d’Ormale since 1992, lets herself be carried from day to day. If the property has long been the location of numerous parties with stars such as Alain Delon or Jean-Paul Belmondo, today it is a true haven of tranquility. We don’t hear “no sound, except the lapping of the waves”, according to the words of his friend Henri Jean-Servat to Gala.

“Brigitte, who sleeps late, wakes up in complete silence, apart from the noises of her dogs, and does not intend to be disturbed before noon. Her loved ones know this, no one calls her in the morning. And everyone knows it well: Brigitte likes to laze around in her large twisted wooden bed. The house is quiet“, we also read.

If she spends her mornings calmly, sometimes listening to classical music, the nonagenarian is more active in the afternoon. “From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., I work for my foundation, (read) my mail, (do) important things regarding animals“, she confided to BFMTV.

Brigitte Bardot: this other house where she “lives like a farmer”

She never goes to the port of Saint-Tropez or even to the city center. Her daily life is divided between her famous residence in La Madrague and this other house that she acquired years ago, in La Garrigue, not far from Saint-Tropez. “This one (the Garrigue, editor’s note), It’s a reflection of me now. La Madrague is a reflection of me when I was doing crazy things“, she confided to BFMTV.

Brigitte Bardot feels much better in this other house, in particular because she is not disturbed by the curious people who often come to gather in front of the Madrague residence in the hope of seeing her. La Garrigue represents for her a “animal paradise that has nothing to do with Saint-Tropez“, as she had confided to France 3 Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur in 2017. And added: “This new life is like a reincarnation. I live a life very close to nature, very close to animals and very close to truth, to suffering, to pain! Joys too“.

“Now I live like a farmer, with my sheep, my goats, my pigs, my mare, my little donkey and my pony, all my dogs, my cats“, explained to BFMTV the one who has just left Toulon hospital, after being treated for breathing difficulties.
