At 47, Anne-Claire Coudray is at the head of the most watched television news in France: the weekend 8 p.m. news on TF1. A position which necessarily gives him a certain celebrity… Which does not necessarily please his only daughter, Amalia.
Since 2015, Anne-Claire Coudray has been the host from Friday to Sunday, at 8 p.m., on TF1. And for good reason, the one who was named Claire Chazal’s joker in 2012 on the weekend editions, finally replaced the emblematic journalist of the channel that same year. And since then, the 47-year-old Breton has been in place. So much so that today it presents the most watched editions in France!
Anne-Claire Coudray: her daughter unimpressed by her fame?
Its success is therefore well established. And TF1 understands this! In addition to presenting the 8 p.m. television news every weekend, the journalist and presenter is also very often at the head of special editions alongside her 1 p.m. accomplice, Gilles Bouleau. No wonder Anne-Claire Coudray is often stopped in the street. An approach which is not to the taste of his only daughter, Amalia, now aged 9…
Guest on Eric Dussart and Jade’s show, We’re doing TV againlast September, she spoke with tenderness of the daughter she had in 2015 with the entrepreneur Nicolas Vix with whom she has shared her life for several years. Asked about her child’s relationship with her celebrity, the forty-year-old explained that her daughter was still quite far from that. “She looks at me more and more since she goes to bed later and later”she began.
Before continuing, lucidly: “It doesn’t impress her more than that. Where she realizes that I have a somewhat special status is in the street when I’m asked to take photos, she doesn’t really like that “. And to conclude: “I have the impression that she thinks that her mother is being stolen from her. And since I never include her in the photos by definition, she doesn’t like it”.
Anne-Claire Coudray in a relationship with Nicolas Vix
Asked about the character of her daughter, Anne-Claire Coudray was full of praise for her. “She is stubborn but she is also nice, and I also like to tell myself that this is also part of the Breton identity”she declared tenderly. Statements rare enough to be highlighted since the journalist is usually very discreet about her private life.
In 2020, she still made some confidences to Jordan de Luxe about the couple she forms with Nicolas Vix. “We met, we were both already, I wouldn’t say a certain age, but I was close to forty and he was in his fifties”she then began. “It’s true that it’s very pleasant to build a couple when we already have our personalities and our spaces of freedom. When we know what we want, but also what we don’t want”she then soberly detailed.
Before closing the topic: “It brings me not being a journalist, I think. Obviously, it brings me love, kindness… And then it also brings me the fact of bringing me down a little bit from this world which is very very very invasive”.
