The Sport Pass changes at the start of the 2025 school year, and these new features may well disappoint many households.
Expenditure linked to children’s education and leisure can quickly weigh heavily on the budget of families. Fortunately, the PASS’Sport, financial assistance implemented by the State in 2021, makes it possible to facilitate access to sports activities. This greatly appreciated system is renewed for the start of the 2025 school year. On the other hand, the conditions of eligibility are already evolving and certain sports associations deplore future changes. Here is a complete guide to understand this device in 2025.
What is the amount of the Pass’sport?
For the 2025-2026 season, the PASS’SPORT is evolving with an increase in the amount of aid, now set at 70 euros, paid in the form of an immediate deduction on the cost of registration taken between September 1 and December 31, 2025. Previously, the amount of aid was 50 euros.
Who can benefit from the Pass’Sport in 2025-2026?
As of September 2025, the Pass’sport is no longer intended for children aged 6 to 13, but focuses on young people from 14 years old, age at which sports tends to decrease. The system now concerns the following audiences:
- Young people from 14 to 17 years old benefiting from the back -to -school allowance (ARS)
- Children and adolescents from 6 to 19 years old with disabilities, beneficiaries of the education allowance for the disabled child (AEEH)
- Young people aged 16 to 30 beneficiaries of the allocation to disabled adults (AAH)
- Students under 28 years of age, beneficiaries of annual aid of CROUS or a regional scholarship for health and social training, awarded before October 15, 2025
Note: children from 6 to 13 years old beneficiaries of ARS have not been eligible for the Pass’sport since this season.
The allocation of the Pass’Sport is automatic for young people fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The beneficiaries will receive a single QR code by electronic means, generally sent in the second half of August 2025. This QR code must be presented when registering in a club, an association or a partner sports hall to immediately benefit from the deduction of 70 euros on the cost of membership. If you do not receive your code, you can request it via the official Pass’Sport website.
Where to use the Pass’sport?
The Pass’Sport is valid in many clubs, sports associations and partner sports halls throughout French territory. It applies to a wide variety of sports activities, whether affiliated to a sports federation or offered by approved commercial structures.
What is the validity period of Pass’Sport 2025-2026?
The Pass’Sport applies for registrations made between September 1ᵉʳ December 31, 2025. It is therefore advisable to register within this period to take advantage of the aid.
