At 91, Nana Mouskouri is becoming increasingly rare in the media. Greatly fulfilled professionally, she now spends happy days with the man of her life in Switzerland, where they have lived for several decades. But who is the one who shares his life?

Nana Mouskouri is a woman in love. And this has been happening for over fifty years! Married since 2003 to the man of her life, who is none other than her producer André Chapelle, she has shared his life for more than fifty years. But what do we know about him?

Nana Mouskouri “faithful by nature” : “When you love someone, you don’t need to look elsewhere.”

Installed in Geneva, Switzerland, since their marriage, the 91-year-old Greek singer and her husband live happily and hidden, far from the rhinestones and glitter that the interpreter of When you sing. If she was first married to the musician Geórgios Petsilás, with whom she had two children, Nicolas and Hélène, the former MEP has been a one-man wife since falling in love with her producer. “When you love someone, you don’t need to look elsewhere. “However, we are not constantly on top of each other. When I was on tour, he came sometimes, not always. And today, he works on his own in his office, and I in mine. We see each other at lunchtime and in the evening”counterbalanced the singer with 400 million albums sold in the process.

Nana Mouskouri “cougar” ? “I’m six years older than him.”

Extremely grateful to have crossed paths with André Chapelle, Nana Mouskouri never misses an opportunity to praise him: “André is attentive, he protected me in this profession where you don’t only meet sincere people”. “With André, we have known each other since 1964, he became my producer. If I hadn’t had him, I wouldn’t have done everything I did. We’re still in love. When he’s there, I’m happy. I’m afraid of losing him. And it’s the same for him. And then, we share this same love and this same respect for music and work”she even admitted to Gala in 2023.

And to the one who has recorded no less than 1500 titles in around ten different languages ​​to admit: “I’m very happy to have found him. Or did he find me, I don’t know…”. Words that Serge Lama’s great friend confirmed last February to our colleagues at Figaro : “Without him, I would never have had this career. We did everything together”. “I’m six years older than him. I’m a cougar!”even launched the nonagenarian. The lovebirds have even already chosen their final resting place: “We spotted a spot at the top of a hill in Greece where you can see the sea”.
