The one whose real name is Julio, a reminder of his Spanish nationality, met his wife when he was only 19 years old. She was 22. Both were on vacation in Pouliguen (in Loire-Atlantique) when they fell in love at first sight. Gérard Hernandez had not yet made his film debut and Micheline was predestined for a career in aesthetics.
“After three hours with her, I said to my friend, the director Jean Becker: ‘Do you see this young girl? You’ll never see me without her again’. He laughed, but still, we celebrated our 64th wedding anniversary on August 3, 2023!”he told Tele-Leisure. Since then, they have become the parents of an only son named François.
The secret to their longevity? “Don’t get bored. We laughed and we continue to laugh. There are bad times of course, but never get bored. And then, you need a certain admiration for each other. I admire him a lot”had also confided the ex-partner of the deceased Marion Game.
