150 episodes in prime time, 120 in late evening, over 500 hours of recording and more than 200 comedians have taken to the stage. The longest running comic show on Italian television, signed Gino and Michele and Giancarlo Bozzo (photo below)celebrates its first thirty years with the special event “Zelig 30”.

Four episodes, from Monday 12 January in prime time on Canale 5, with the historic couple formed by Claudio Bisio and Vanessa Incontrada at the helm and on stage stars of Italian comedy – Aldo Giovanni and Giacomo, Mr Forest, Raul Cremona, Geppi Cucciari, Teresa Mannino, Katia Follesa, Valeria Graci, Ale and Franz, Cochi Ponzoni – accompanied by the bands of Roy Paci and Aretuska, Elio e le Storie Tese and Paolo Jannacci band with the participation of Cochi Ponzoni.
Together with them, from Studio 20 in Cologno Monzese, other great comedians whose names are inextricably linked to Zelig, who will rotate during the episodes, including Max Angioni, Anna Maria Barbera, Enrico Bertolino, Paolo Cevoli, Vincenzo Comunale, Giuseppe Giacobazzi, Maurizio Lastrico, Paolo Migone, Leonardo Manera, Oblivion, Antonio Ornano.
Zelig 30 brings to the stage a unique story in Italian television, spanning three decades and rewarded over time with 4 Telegatti and 4 TV Oscars. Born in 1996 with the late evening debut on Italia 1 of Happy birthday Zelig a double event which in turn celebrated the 10 years of activity of the Milanese cabaret established in 1986 in viale Monza 140, the program has become over the years much more than a comedy show: in these 30 years, it has been, in fact, a permanent laboratory of ideas, a place of experimentationan extraordinary breeding ground of talents who have subsequently marked the history of Italian comedy and theatre, television and cinema over the last thirty years.


During the program, Claudio Bisio and Vanessa Incontrada, alternating chats and jokes with the guests with precious archive footage, will guide the viewer along a journey of laughter and memory, without interruption, and then leave the stage to the artists themselves with their historic live numbers. Among these the Manera-Penoni duo with their “Polish cinema”, Oriano Ferrari (Marco della Noce), Ranzani (Albertino), James Tont (Fabrizio Fontana), Paolo Cevoli with his councilor for Miscellaneous and Eventual, the irresistible Pino dei Palazzi by Giancarlo Kalabrugovich and many others.
