From the entrance, a glass roof, multifunctional furniture, cushions and Hungarian point parquet flooring set the scene. Friendly and functional, this atmosphere lends itself perfectly to family life.
1. Install a glass roof to fill up with light
Adjoined to the baby’s room, this entrance needed to breathe. A ready-made solution to get there? Remove the existing – non-load-bearing – wall and install glass walls in the style of a glass roof which delimit the spaces and allow light to pass through. Painted white, the uprights blend perfectly into the decor.
2. Create a bench with built-in storage
Made to measure, this low piece of furniture runs along the canopy and the multifunction side. Like a very practical bench seat for (taking) off your shoes, it also has integrated storage. This is how three large, fairly deep drawers allow you to store the shoes of all members of the family. So putting your shoes away is really fun!
3. Stock up on cushions
Cozy and cozy as can be, the cushion is an essential decorative accessory. And the owner of the place understood that well. In order to bring the cocooning touch that was missing from her entrance, she chose to accumulate them. Rectangular or square and dressed in off-white, powder pink and rust covers, they create a very refined pastel atmosphere.
