Usually discreet in terms of style, Axelle Red was not so during this ceremony.
The MIA ceremony, rewarding the Flemish music industry, took place on February 4 in Brussels. For the occasion, Axelle Red pulled out all the stops on the fashion side.
As a Belgian, Axelle Red had to participate in this 18th edition of the event, especially since she received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her entire successful musical career. His appearances are rare, so each of his outings is scrutinized. And for this red carpet, the singer hit hard with an outfit that far from went unnoticed. The one who has always loved wearing original pieces opted for an orange dress that hugged her waist, decorated with flames going up to her chest. This spectacular creation is signed Véronique Leroy and comes from the Spring-Summer collection of 1996. We also noticed the shirt collar of this dress which added an elegant touch to its silhouette, in order to subtly counterbalance the patterns.
For her evening accessories, Axelle Red also tried to be daring with unexpected pieces. She focused on a very trendy western spirit. Thus, white heeled ankle boots perfectly extended her slender silhouette in front of the photographers.
In addition, a cowboy hat punctuated her second outfit, when she sang her hit on stage Sensuality.
At 57, Axelle Red proves that there is no age to have fun with fashion, becoming a sure source of fashion inspiration.
