Before becoming a presenter, Karine Ferri had a completely different job which had nothing to do with television, but which was particularly close to her heart… perhaps a little too much!

Revealed by TF1 around ten years ago, Karine Ferri recently left the ship to join the RMC Story channel. Since March 1, she has hosted, alongside Yohann Latouche, a weekly show entirely dedicated to animals, L’Hebdo des Animaux: the SPA magazine. In this program, broadcast every Sunday, the TV host travels the country in search of the most special links between the French and their pets… a real passion for her!

Karine Ferri “fell in love” during her first job: “It was mutual”

The 43-year-old presenter revealed in the columns of TV 7 days that her very first job, which she got when she was 18, revolved around animals: “When my friends were babysitting, I was dog-sitting.” “I felt good with the animals, there was a deep, sincere exchange, without any expectation of return”she also specified in the newspaper Nice Morning.

A true animal lover, Karine Ferri nevertheless encountered some difficulties during this first job. “We had to stop very quickly because I no longer wanted to return the animals (…) There was a story with a brown Labrador called Poumba. I fell in love with him. It was mutual. When his owners came to collect him, it was a little complicated.”she recalled to our colleagues from TV 7 days.
