This car seat won the prestigious trophy in its category, awarded by juries chaired by Estelle Balit, interministerial delegate for Road Safety. “For almost a decade, the Innovation Awards and Challenges have offered a spotlight to all the creativity involved in a field that concerns us all: that of saving lives on the road.” she said.
The mystery is now over: the big winner is the Anoris T2 i-Size model, developed by the CYBEX brand. This seat, which is suitable for children from 15 months to approximately 7 years (i.e. 76 to 125 cm), stands out for a real revolution in safety: it integrates integral airbag technology directly hidden in an impact shield. This system offers unprecedented protection for the child, particularly during frontal collisions. And that’s not all: while 80% of parents strap their child in facing the road too early, this car seat model proves to be the right compromise for interacting with their child in complete safety.
This Innovation Prize, which this year celebrated a decade of support for concrete solutions for safer roads, highlighted this model among 60 applications and 29 nominees. For Etienne Engrand, General Manager of the brand, “Receiving this award during the 10th edition is a special honor“. He also specifies that this award confirms a vital issue: that of “transform technical inventiveness into a concrete shield to protect families.” A great technological advance which reminds us how crucial it is to equip yourself with equipment validated by experts and to always make sure to secure your child properly before each departure.
