Such a smooth surface requires special attention: without careful cleaning, pot marks and grease splashes quickly accumulate. Here’s how to prevent clogging to keep equipment looking like new. Grease splashes are a daily occurrence on induction hobs! Care must be taken to degrease the surface after each use to prevent it from becoming clogged or burning the grease the next time it is used. To do this, wipe the surface with a sponge soaked in a little white vinegar, rinse then dry with a clean cloth. This natural product is particularly degreasing and will not scratch your plate.
If your induction hob is very dirty, it may need a more thorough cleaning. To remove the most stubborn traces and stains, you can soak a sponge with a good quantity of black soap and distribute the product over the surface, creating a lather. Leave the soap on for a few hours or even overnight then rinse with hot water. You will then dry everything with a microfiber cloth.
There silver stone will also be a great ally in eliminating all the stains that can clog your induction place. Simply rub with a sponge, leave to act then rinse.
If it is a piece of burnt plasticheat the plate without anything on it. Once the plastic is melted again, use a sponge to wipe the surface.
