When he’s not filming, the prolific Gilles Lellouche can relax in the countryside. Indeed, the actor expected at the cinema in “The Electric Venus” notably owns a house which means a lot to him.
Gilles Lellouche is everywhere as they would say Telerama ! We barely saw him a few weeks ago in THE Crime on the 3rd floorwhich he already follows with The Electric Venusscreened (out of competition) at the opening of the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival which starts on May 12. Then, we will find it in Millthe biopic in which he plays the main role… in official competition at the Festival.
Gilles Lellouche owns this symbolic house: “I did it naturally“
Despite a busy schedule, the now 53-year-old actor never misses an opportunity to recharge his batteries with his family. Father of two children – Ava, born in 2009 from his relationship with Mélanie Doutey, and Jules, born in 2022, fruit of the couple he forms with Alizée Guinochet – bought a very symbolic house for him, located about 40 kilometers from Paris. The director of Love phew has in fact bought back his childhood home in Fontainebleau (in Seine-et-Marne).
To create memories but not only. A real homecoming for those who grew up in the region. “I wanted to help my parents. My father fought all his life to keep this house. Life was not always kind to him. When I was able to help him, I did it naturally”he told the magazine Infraredof which he was on the cover in 2024.
And the actor, capable of transforming himself for a role to the point of coming close to 100 kilos, continues: “I find it great to be able to pass this place on to the grandchildren (…) With this house, I am building something strong for my family, so that we can all be together.”
Where does Gilles Lellouche live when he is not at home?
With this residence, Gilles Lellouche found a real refuge far from the tumult of the capital. But, on a daily basis, he lives in Paris. In fact, he lives in an apartment in the very bohemian 5th arrondissement. An environment different from the one he knew as a child, he who is a native of Savigny-sur-Orge (in Essonne).
“I first lived in Savigny-sur-Orge. From the house, near the highway, we could hear the noise of the cars. It was joyful, despite everything. Mom was sunny, optimistic…”, confided Gilles Lellouche in the pages of the newspaper The Worldin 2022.
