A week after the announcement of her complaint against Patrick Bruel, host Flavie Flament publicly spoke on RTL. She categorically denies the singer’s comments about their supposed romantic relationship.
Host Flavie Flament is one of around thirty women, in France and Belgium, who have made serious accusations against Patrick Bruel; to date, at least 12 complaints have been officially filed and the artist is the target of four investigations for rape in France as well as a judicial investigation in Belgium for sexual assault.
Flavie Flament responds to Patrick Bruel on their supposed romantic relationship
The former host of Telematin filed a complaint against Patrick Bruel for rape and assures that the facts occurred in the early 1990s, when she was a minor. While the 67-year-old singer and actor spoke on his Instagram account to deny this accusation, speaking of a consensual relationship and, above all, of a brief romantic affair, Flavie Flament saw red.
While the journalist Thomas Sotto welcomed him this May 22 on RTL, he asked him if the artist was “a friend“. Cash response from Flavie Flament: “Oh no, he wasn’t a friend… I was like all the kids, I listened to Patrick Bruel. I met him on a television set because Laurent Boyer, at that time, allowed me to attend his shows. A few months later, I found myself on rue Jussieu. No, he wasn’t a friend, he was a star for me.“

The 51-year-old host also added that Patrick Bruel – who despite everything plays in the play Part two at the Edward VII Theater – knew “undoubtedly“that she was only 16 years old when they met but admits to having difficulty remembering precisely how she ended up at his house:”I couldn’t tell you. I remember Patrick Bruel calling my parents’ house and I remember my mother in all her excitement because he had called (…) I never had consensual sexual relations with Patrick Bruel.”

The TV presenter, who recounted having experienced a “blackout“drinking tea offered by Patrick Bruel before regaining consciousness and seeing him”putting (my) pants back on“, attacked the interpreter of Break your voice for her defense which she considers shaky.
“The defense arguments vary. We’re talking about an episodic relationship, it becomes a relationship over years. They say we met on vacation and then they tell us we went to spend our vacations together every year“, she first denounced.
All these versions of the story only denote a feverishness
And Flavie Flament, who clarified that she never had the artist’s contact details and was forced to receive him later on her shows because of the choices of the producers, added: “All these versions of the story only indicate excitement. When you have the truth, Thomas, when you have the truth, you never change your version and you never go into overkill. Never !“
