Princess Rajwa dazzled the audience by donning a dress with oriental accents to celebrate 80 years of Jordan’s independence.
This Monday, May 25, the Al Husseiniya Palace vibrated to the rhythm of an exceptional ceremony, organized under the direction of King Abdullah II of Jordan, to mark the 80th anniversary of the independence of the Hashemite kingdom. All eyes were turned to the royal personalities present, remarkably elegant for the occasion. But one appearance particularly captured the attention: that of Princess Rajwa who seemed to have escaped from a real tale from the Arabian Nights.
For this grandiose celebration, the wife of Crown Prince Hussein opted for a breathtaking look. She appeared in a dress combining fluidity and architectural lines, designed especially for her by the stylist Reema Dahbour. Dressed in an almost pastel sky blue, the creation revealed a cascade of fabric, enhanced with an asymmetrical cape bringing airy movement in a revisited caftan spirit. At the waist, a subtle play of superpositions structured the piece, adding relief without breaking the fluidity of the whole. But the real highlight, however, lay in the way the dress fell: a noble-looking fabric slid diagonally from the waist to the floor, almost enveloping her pointy pumps in a sophisticated drape.
And because such an elaborate silhouette would be nothing without the right accessories, Princess Rajwa had perfected every detail with remarkable precision. In her hand she held an elegant taupe minaudiere in woven leather, the Knot Soft model by Bottega Venetapriced around 4,200 euros.
As for jewelry, little Iman’s mother opted for gold pieces including a delicate floral brooch and large cuffs integrated into the dress. Decorated with golden patterns evoking traditional arabesques, they brought a majestic dimension to the outfit. Splendid !
