This apartment had not been renovated for far (too) long. Thanks to the know-how and good ideas of Élodie Sierocki, he gave himself a new look for a new life. Proof in pictures with one of the bedrooms.
Seduced by this 130 m² apartment in the 7th arrondissement, a couple working in fashion found it had some flaws: a kitchen isolated from the living room, unsightly radiators under the windows and a glaring lack of storage. Madame, a stylist, particularly needed a huge dressing room. We got along so well on the phone with interior designer Élodie Sierocki that she exceptionally agreed to visit the property before purchasing. Confirming its potential, it reassured customers, allowing the project to be refined during the three months preceding the final sale.
The apartment was initially divided into the kitchen and two bedrooms on the left, and a large extended living room with one bedroom on the right. Élodie Sierocki immediately optimized the space by reversing the kitchen and bedroom on the day side, then knocking down the wall to create a large living room. To hide the radiators, she designed formwork that served as benches. In the entrance, the old partitioned dressing room has given way to large linear cupboards, more airy and functional. Finally, the whole has been modernized in a refined style mixing white and wood. Thanks to perfect synergy between the architect and the owners, this smooth project ended with a total success.
On the night side, the first bedroom seemed very tired. From its old-fashioned windows to its faded wallpaper to this radiator, hidden as best it could, it needed a makeover to please its new owners.
After the passage of Elodie Sierocki, the unsightly radiator gave way to an elegant cast iron model. Behind the bed, the wall is dressed in a very soft gray, complemented by a beautiful wooden headboard and a fine cream rug. A simple, effective and tasteless decoration in short.
As a bonus, the original windows have been replaced by double-glazed models, guaranteeing impeccable sound and thermal insulation. For a property with improved energy performance, in which they can stay for years.
